This Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors. Learners achieving this qualification will understand the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace, how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances, and the precautions and procedures necessary to ensure that risks are properly controlled.
This Level 2 course is accredited by Highfield Training and follows Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). It is designed for individuals working in an environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely. This includes workplaces in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and office and classroom environments.

The qualification is assessed by a 30 minute multiple-choice examination.
