Sureteam are delighted to announce that they have become a partner and supporter of educational charity and risk management professional body the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).

By becoming a partner Sureteam will look to work collaboratively with the organisation and its network of partners and supporters to help build safe, healthy and resilient organisations that empower everyone to identify, manage and communicate risk.

Who are IIRSM?

As an educational charity and industry body, delivering public benefit and supporting all of those involved within safety and risk management is integral to all of its activities.  It achieves this through:

• Increasing public understanding of how effective risk management builds resilience
• Promoting discussion and debate via regional networks, events and online content
• Recognising and rewarding best practice through its annual Risk Excellence Awards that are being held on 20th May 2021.
• Providing technical support, webinars and resources to members and the public
• Engagement with legislators and regulators around risk competence
• Developing an educational and ethical framework to educate the risk leaders of the future
• Working with other like-minded professional bodies specialising in complimentary professions to ensure a wider knowledge of the importance of risk management.

We are also delighted to be officially recognised as an official supporter of the IIRSM Risk Awards for 2021, recognising the high standards achieved by their members over the past year.

Each year the IIRSM celebrates some hugely inspirational and extraordinary stories and successes, highlighting the hard work of teams and individuals throughout the year. Sureteam is pleased to wish the finalists the best of luck and looks forward to joining them at the IIRSM’s virtual awards ceremony on the evening of the 20 May 2021.
